As a financial institution with high human traffic, a stringent security system was needed to manage and monitor visitors in the building.
The one-year project involved the implementation of systems that ensure occupier’s safety is guaranteed by restricting access around the building. Upon arrival, visitors must exchange their identity card for a pre-programmed entry card. With it, visitors can only enter a designated lift to their specified floor level and will be barred from accessing other floor levels. Building security can thus monitor and be alerted on visitors attempting to access off-limit areas. Moreover, the system acts as a deterrent against possible threats and harm to the building and its occupants. The integrated process is planned towards automation, enabling simple management of human traffic flow.
