This project was commissioned on 15 Oct 2018 and to be completed by 14 Jan 2019. The aim of this project is to employ the Active Mobility Display Counter System (AMDCS). This project’s objectives are to observe the effect of walking and cycling activities generated due to the several approaching active mobility-related programs as well as to boost public awareness and engagement in active mobility through the display of data. This is done through the data collection on the counts of pedestrians, PMDs and cyclists at Ang Mo Kio Town Centre, completed with a transmission medium, fault reporting system and backend system.
